In 2026, the question for any site isn’t “will I rank on Google?” anymore. It’s “will any engine, traditional or AI, even find me?” I publish a Technical SEO library about that shift.

My name is Victor Ijomah. I’m a UK-based Technical SEO Specialist, with an M.Sc in Digital Marketing from the University of Chester. I came to the field from a less-than-conventional starting point: years of building digital ventures from Nigeria, learning SEO from results rather than from textbooks, before moving to the UK for graduate study at a moment when the entire field was about to be rewritten. That cross-context view is part of why my writing tends to be more practical than theoretical, and more honest than performative.
My current focus sits at a specific intersection: the technical work that decides whether content can be discovered, understood, and cited across both traditional search engines and AI engines. That includes crawling, indexing, schema, entity SEO, llms.txt, AI crawler management, retrieval optimisation, and the deeper systems thinking behind how retrieval works at all. Each of these used to be a niche concern. In 2026, they’ve become the foundation of being visible online at all.
What I commit to in this library
To publish work I’d want to read myself. To name what I’m still figuring out rather than pretend to have arrived. To trust readers to follow real arguments without watering them down. To audit my own thinking in public when I get something wrong.
What I won’t do
I won’t recycle other people’s takes for traffic. I won’t hide behind acronyms when plain English would serve the reader better. I won’t pretend Google still owns the conversation when ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google’s own AI Overviews are quietly rewriting the rules.
